HOW TO DEREGISTER FROM CORPORATE TAX, AND WHEN SHOULD A COMPANY APPLY FOR CORPORATE TAX DEREGISTRATION? With practical #example. Mainly, there are two categories of companies based on its legal status a) Natural person b) Legal person or juridical person In both cases it is required that we apply for deregistration within 3 months from the date of business cessation, business closure, dissolution, #liquidation, sale of business, merger of business or any other cases etc. Let’s start the process of de #registration of #corporate tax . Steps 1.login into the EmaraTax account using your login credentials or using UAE Pass and Open dashboard 2. On the right , click 3 dots from the ‘Actions’ colum in the Corporate Tax tile and Select ‘‘Deregister’ to initiate the Corporate Tax De-Registration application. 3. Read the instructions and guidelines for Corporate Tax De-Registration and mark the checkbox to confirm. Click ‘Start’ 4. The taxpayers Corporate #Tax registration details are pre-populated in the #De-Registration application. Enter the ‘Date of Cessation of Business or Business Activity’. & Choose the exact ‘Reason for Cessation of Business’ from the drop down. Example, sale of business, merger ,cessation of business or any other reasons etc… Based on the reason for deregistration, an additional information column will appear to be filled in. For example in the case sale of business ,you should enter buyer/transferee details and in the case of merger add survivor of merger etc. upload the supporting documents from the authorities or third parties. After entering the required information, Click next, This section highlights all the details entered by you across the application. After carefully reviewing all of the information entered in the application, mark the checkbox to declare the correctness of the information provided in the application, then Click ‘Submit’. After your application is submitted successfully, a Reference Number is generated for your submitted application.
